What began with 81 exhibitors in Friedrichshafen in 2014 has since become a highly successful series of exhibitions at eight locations in Germany and Switzerland.

Since 2015 the regional exhibition for and in NRW. Started at Messe Essen, the aaa in the west moved to Areal Böhler in Düsseldorf in 2022.

2024 will be the first time that all about automation will be held in Bavaria. Straubing is located in the middle of the industrial region of Lower Bavaria and is connected on a short way to the also economically strong Upper Palatinate. The aaa in Straubing takes place every 2 years.
